A Modern Day World, like so many you know.   In 1984, the Cybertronian Civil War resumed on Earth. Optimus Prime and Megatron, awakening from a four-million-year slumber, continued their war without end. Megatron's aim: To exploit Earth as a rich source of energy. Optimus Prime's: To halt Megatron's menace and return home.   But there was more than meets the eye to this Earth. In the 1920s, Nikola Tesla unveiled the very first "automatic intelligence," a humanoid robot dubbed The Atomic Robo, all while archeologists in Giza unearthed what would eventually be dubbed the Stargate. In the 1960s, enhanced signal analysis detected an abnormal growth in Sergei Korolev. The subsequent surgery treated his cancer, and Soviet Russia beat the US to the Moon by a mere three weeks. In the 1970s, a spider-themed costumed hero fought off an invasion from the alien Iron Cross Army in Japan while scientists discovered the very first ultraheavy element in the island of stability.   In the 1980s, fantastic advancements have been made in the fields of artificial intelligence and holography, while masked crusaders work overtime, fighting crime. It is a world transformed, one being reshaped by science and technology bordering on whimsical. A world approaching so many you've seen before, but never quite the same. It is the world of Transformers: Collision Course.
